Supporting all types of trauma

Trauma is a response to an event that a person finds highly physical or emotionally stressful.

There are several types of trauma, including:

A person who has experienced trauma may feel denial, anger, fear, sadness, shame, confusion, numbness or even guilt. Trauma can have long-term effects on the persons wellbeing and can develop into Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) if symptoms persist.
